9.5 Inch Sunflower “C” Acrylic Painting - The Crumpled Edition

I’m often known for creating unusual pieces of art out of recycled and found materials, so when I came across a bunch of Brass Drum Cymbals I was thrilled! Some texture is added for the “seeds”
Unlike most of my Drum Cymbal Paintings, This cymbal was squashed pretty bad before I rescued it. At first I was disappointed, but on examining it further, I realized the bends and dings in it created a perfect impression of “petals”. The crumpled cymbal is actually my favorite Sunflower!
The Painting has been sealed with varnish, and is signed on the back.
It is 9.5 inches wide, with a hole in the middle for hanging.
This is truly a unique piece of Recycled Art! |
