About
This Piece: |
“While all roosters like to strut around the coop wooing their hens, none strut as well as the banty! They never seem to realize just how small they are. They are a sight to see! I painted this one day after watching my little favorite “Rhett Butler” the banty rooster trying to look good for his “Scarlett” hen.”
- “MamaHen” - C. E. Harrison
The painting is on a piece of primed sheet metal. It is approx. 15 1/2″ X 16″. It has been sealed and signed with CEH 3-08 on the front and C.E.Harrison 3-2008 on the back.

About the Artist:
|
|
I am C.E. Harrison, from Georgia. I am …an artist, wife, mother, animal lover. I live on a farm and raise chickens, turkeys and geese. I have 2 studios, one attached to my home, and one under the big shade trees, with my chickens keeping me company and offering critiques. My paintings have been collected all over the United States. While a lot of my art leans towards the Southern Folk Art Style, I never let anything rule me - in short…. I’m “complicated”. |
