has been living with ALS, or better known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease since 1997. There isn’t any traditional medical treatment available for this disease at present. We have come across this one new treatment that we believe will actually help make her life more bearable with the hope of increasing her mobility.

Of course with any new treatment it costs, $21,000. We are in need of raising about half before the treatments can begin. We know that this is a huge amount, yet with everyone helping it would be accomplished much faster.”

To help raise the money Dottie has been drawing pictures on computer using the paint program. She is selling them in card format printed by her daughter Verne. It’s only $15 for 5 cards, and they come with envelopes. I ordered a set, emailing Verne to tell her which ones I liked, and they arrived this week. They are beautiful! I especially loved the Giraffe!
