New Mini Paintings - Chicken Pops
Today I painted a couple of rooster paintings in a modern pop style. They are both 5″ x 5″ OSWOA (Original Small Works of Art”, and are each in 7 inch hand painted frames. Here is my OSWOA Framed Chicken Pops Painting, which is also for sale in my mini paintings section.
Textured Painting Folk Art Fish in a Painted Frame
I went fishing this week and completed a folk art fish painting on textured sheet metal. I really like the way it made the fish have scales. To finish it off I painted a wooden frame to match. The painting is approximately 8.5″ x 11″, and the frame is 9.5″ x 12″. The painting is listed in my Folk Art Section.
New Recycled Content Pieces - Flowers of the Season
I finished 2 more flowers painted on drum cymbals. Going in line with my sunflower for summer, I painted a Pansy on a 14 inch cymbal for Fall, and a poinsettia on a 16 inch cymbal for Winter. They are all 3 for sale in my Folk Art section.

Goodbye Lucky - Sir Chicken Newton
October was a very busy month around the little farm getting all the chickens ready for the coming winter. A lot had to be done, and I’m still working to make my little friends as comfortable as possible. I lost one of my best little friends - “Lucky”, the Ameraucana. She would come out every morning and together we would go for our walks. When it came to painting, she was my biggest fan and also critic! It’s funny how even little chickens can make great pets and companions.

Lucky
I’m also getting back to painting, so I will be listing a lot of my newest paintings right here. Here’s another of my folk art rooster paintings that my son named “Sir Chicken Newton” because of the apple tree in the background. It is a small acrylic painting, 4″ x 6″, inside of a painted wooden frame, for sale in my mini painting section.
