New “Studio” for Me, New Coops for the Chickens
A lot of remodeling going on around here lately, but I now have a new “studio” just for me - no one else - Yea!!! So now I have to get back to painting full time again.
We’ve also been building new coops, as this years chicks are growing into full grown chickens and we’ll need to sort them out. I’m really excited, as the young Welsummer hens have already started laying, and their eggs are almost as dark as the Black Copper Maran Hens. The banties, except for snow, my D’uucle, have also started laying, so while it is cooling off, we are having an over abundance of eggs! I sold hatching eggs last year on Ebay, but this next year I think I am going to sell them directly from my website, so this spring I will be getting them listed early.
